2009 ACTION INVITATION
Does the wanton destruction of the Indonesian and Sumatran rainforests devastate you? Do you wish you could save the Orangutans?
If your answer is yes then the Palm Oil Action Group needs you! After a successful campaign in the Northern Rivers last year we have decided to organise a wave of consumer letter writing actions right across Australia aimed at bringing Australia together to declare to the major supermarkets and fast food outlets that selling products that use palm oil is unacceptable.
We are going to tell them that we demand the right to make informed decisions about our purchasing practices.
Rolling out across Australia we will be targeting KFC and Woolworths, as well as petitioning the Government for a change in labeling laws.
