Palm Oil Action
Palm oil costs the lives of ~50 endangered orangutans every week and is a major cause of global warming. In South East Asia 300 soccer fields are deforested every hour for palm oil plantations. Unsuspecting consumers use palm oil everyday in food, cosmetic and bath products as it is often just labeled ‘vegetable oil’.

The Palm Oil Action Group invites you to be a part of a campaign during November and December focusing on urging Woolworths to:

A) Require all suppliers that use palm oil to label it on their products. Woolworths to label Palm Oil where used on their own brand products.

 B) Require all current suppliers that use palm oil to produce independent reports on the sustainability of that palm oil

 C) Develop and implement a policy to eliminate products that are identified to contain palm oil from unsustainable sources.

This type of consumer pressure has created major changes in European Supermarkets!  You are invited to attend and/or help out at:
